A Godly Steward

First, Merry Christmas! I pray for the peace of God to rest on us all. We have good reason to long for that peace.

I imagine it’s impossible for me to find a better steward of the money we send overseas than Tonny. He gives a complete accounting of every penny. We were able to send him $2400 to provide Christmas for the kids. Following is the list in his words…

28 mattresses.

13 blankets for mature kids.

12 blankets for young children.

3 pairs of shoes plus shirts for 3 children whom I didn’t bought mattresses and blankets. They still have good.

Stocked two bags of charcoals because cooking with electricity on Christmas cost us much units.

Will buy chickens and rice for the young ones to eat.

The mature eat as usual beans and maize flour.

I know you see what’s missing from the list above. These people are concerned with day-to-day living—food, housing, clothing, and health. Nothing more.

Since my last update, one child, Cissy, age 9, spent five days in the hospital with typhoid. She has been released and is doing well.

Thank you for your support. We couldn’t do it without you.
